Enter the notification date and the number of business days, or the start date and the months or years of the period, and get the expiry date with the days that count and those that do not.
Free and private: it runs in your browser, we do not send what you type.
A support tool: it does not replace the lawyer's judgement or checking the case file.
Choose the notification date and type a whole number of days, from 1 to 1000.
- Expires on
- First day counted
- Business days counted
- Days not counted
Under the COGEP, the term expires at the last working moment of that day's working hours.
See the days counted and excluded
The period is counted from date to date starting on the date you enter. Confirm which date that is under COA art. 158 and the applicable rule.
Choose the start date and type a whole number of months or years, up to 100 years.
- Expires on
The expiry month has no equivalent day, so the period expires on the last day of the month (COA art. 160).
Check the applicable rule: this tool does not move it to another day.
Holidays and rest days that do not count
We preloaded the 2026 rest days published by the Vice Ministry of Tourism and later decrees, as reported by the press. Add or remove dates for your case.
Check against the decree in force and the non-working days of the Judiciary or the public body, which are not included. There are no preloaded holidays from 2027 onwards: add them yourself.
- The list is empty: only Saturdays and Sundays are excluded.
